中小企業診断士になって変わったこと

実はＪＡ全農勤務時代に
数多くの失敗をしてきました。

当時の自分は、品目担当として職場の中で上位を争う実績をあげており、
職場は自分が支えているぐらいに思って、
毎日残業、出張、休みもとらずに
家庭も顧みない仕事人間でした。

自分の業績が一番で、
社内外の立場を考えず、
いろいろな人を困らせてきました。

しかし、業績をいくらあげても周囲には敵ばかり。
自分の主張を通すには、
さらに仕事にはまり込んでいくが、
だんだん自分の心の中のむなしさが増えていく。
見えない負の連鎖に陥っていました。

仕事を一生懸命にやっても幸せになれない。

こんな疑問が自分の中で芽生え始めました。

転期は、大阪勤務時代に関西商人にボロボロにされ、
有頂天だった天狗の鼻がおられたときです。

ショックで落ち込んだ時に、
本屋さんで立ち読みして
「中小企業診断士」の資格を取りたいと考え、
２年間仕事と勉強を両立する毎日となりました。

受験勉強をして分かったのは、
世の中には中小企業や零細企業がたくさんいるということです。

下請けの運送会社や包装加工で働いてくれる人、
小さな八百屋さんの気持ちなど弱い立場で働く社長、
従業員はどのような気持ちで働いていたのか？
大きな組織にいた自分ははじめて我に返ったのです。

それから、利他の気持ちを持ち、社内のパートさんから小さな取引先、
産地の担当者の配慮をするように心がけました。

「本ちゃんは、全農の人間の中で変わっているな」

こう下請けの会社の人から言われるようになり、
自分の業績よりも相手に感謝される仕事は、
気持ちよいしやりがいのあることにはじめて気が付いたのです。

結果、以前より自分のことを応援してくれる人が増えて
自分の業績は以前よりもアップしたのです。

今では、
ほとんどの仕事は
中小企業の経営者、そこで働くスタッフと
会う毎日です。

皆さん
安定した生活が保証されない
厳しい環境の中で
志をもち
まじめに
働いていらっしゃいます。

かつては、
会社の看板と肩書きが
仕事人としてのステータスと思っていましたが
今は、会社の大小関係なく
相手に配慮ができ、志をもって
がんばっている人が
魅力的と感じるようになりました。

もし、中小企業診断士の資格を
目指さなければ
彼らの気持ちは一生
分からなかったかもしれません。
